Guided Wellness Paddle with Engagement Manager and Yoga Instructor Carla Villa 

New Moons are a time where the moon is situated between the Earth and Sun, resulting in no visible moon in the sky. This absence from the sky marks the beginning of a new lunar cycle.   Traditionally new moons are a time for ease, to move inward; rest and reflect. 

Join us as we mark this new lunar cycle with a paddle on the Ipswich River. We’ll start by grounding our bodies and mind with dockside gentle yoga stretches that compliment paddling. We’ll tune into our breath and quiet our busy minds with the intention of shifting into a state of awareness ready to rely on the river for its grounding qualities.

Carla loves how both yoga — and the river — helps us to tune in to our body, mind, and spirit. Her yoga classes help you meet your body where it is today through conscious breathing and gentle yoga styles. With a focus on regulating our nervous systems through slow flow, restorative, and yin yoga practices, she invites you to explore the physical and mental benefits of yoga. Her paddles will leave you feeling grounded and connected to the river and natural world.
