Amy MacNulty and Team Lynnfield Walk the Watershed

Amy MacNulty is raising her paddle for clean water by walking through the Towns the Ipswich River flows through, as well as her own town of Lynnfield. Do you live in Lynnfield? Join Amy in raising funds and awareness for the Ipswich River

For my Paddle-a-thon challenge I am walking at least 2 miles in each town “the river runs through”. My plan is to walk a route as close to the Ipswich River as possible in 9 towns the river runs through plus 2 miles in one of the 13 towns that draw water from the river for a total of 20+ miles!

Ipswich River runs through Burlington, Wilmington, Reading, North Reading, Peabody, Middleton, Topsfield, Hamilton, and Ipswich, connecting with the Atlantic Ocean at Ipswich Bay.

Here are my routes

Burlington Mill Pond Conservation Area

Wilmington Woburn Street, Federal Street, Church Street, Glen Road, and around Central Park Conservation Area

Reading Reading Town Forest

North Reading Ipswich River Park and Harold Parker State Forest

Peabody Peabody Greenway Trail starting at Russell Street & Main Street (next to Ipswich River) to Crystal Lake Conservation Land

Middleton Middleton Pond trail and Route 62 starting at Boston Street and Kelley Lane

Topsfield Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary

Hamilton Bradley Palmer State Park

Ipswich Julia Bird Conservation Area to Ipswich Boat Ramp

Lynnfield* Main St, Lowell St, N Hill, Glen Drive to Willis Brook (Adjacent to Lynnfield Center Water District & Sagamore Golf Course)

**One of 13 towns that draw water from the Ipswich River:
Salem, Lynn, Peabody, Danvers, Wilmington, N. Reading, Ipswich, Middleton, Topsfield, Hamilton, Wenham, Beverly, Lynnfield.
