As part of a massive grant project funded by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), we are installing news kiosks on river landings throughout the watershed. This past weekend, Ipswich River volunteers and Programs Coordinator Ryan O’Donnell installed the first of the new kiosks. The kiosk was installed at the Central Street Landing at Ipswich River Park in North Reading. The kiosk will have information on the landing, the native and invasive flora and fauna of the river, and the newly upgraded Ipswich River Water Trail Map.

Brandon Boyd from Ipswich, who is one of our RiverWatch monitors, a regular Herring Count volunteer and assessed tidal crossings this spring as part of a Massachusetts Environmental Trust grant project.
Glenn Bambury from Middleton, who along with being a Middleton Stream Team member maintains Mortalo Landing in Middleton.
Riley Sandberg from Reading volunteers for our annual River Clean ups and his mother is one of our RiverWatch monitors, making him a legacy volunteer!
